Role: Senior Art Director
Duration: Nearly 9 years
Tools: Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Team: Designers, developers, copywriters, marketing managers, project managers, and clients
For nearly nine years, I served as Senior Art Director—first at Modem Media, then Digitas—for the Delta Air Lines account.
Those years brought an incredible variety of projects, roles, and responsibilities, alongside the opportunity to collaborate with some truly talented people.
My work for Delta spanned everything from email and direct marketing to full-scale website redesigns and large-scale photo and video shoots. I was hands-on with every initiative, ensuring brand and visual consistency while navigating high-stakes challenges. I even authored the master style guide adopted across delta.com and Delta’s global divisions.
Over time, my deep involvement earned me the nickname “Delta Danny”—a reflection of my commitment to the brand and my in-depth understanding of the business. At Digitas, I helped reimagine Delta’s digital presence, leading projects like the delta.com redesign, global campaign launches, and the creation of robust brand standards. Every project was a chance to work closely with teams to deliver a seamless, user-centered experience for millions of travelers.
